These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DrainTeck LLC ("DrainTeck," "we," "us," or "our") website, client portal, and the drain cleaning, hydro jetting, camera inspection, sewer line, grease trap, and related plumbing services we provide (the "Services"). By using our website, requesting a quote, booking a service, or creating a client portal account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or Services.

Our Services

DrainTeck provides residential and commercial drain and sewer service throughout the Cedar Valley, Iowa area, including routine drain cleaning, hydro jetting, camera/video inspection, sewer line service, grease trap cleaning, and scheduled maintenance. Specific services available to you may depend on your location and property type.

Quotes and Estimates

Quotes and price estimates provided through our website, over the phone, or by a technician before work begins are estimates based on the information available at the time. Actual pricing may vary once a technician has fully assessed the issue on site — for example, if a job turns out to require additional work, different equipment, or reveals a more serious underlying problem than initially described. We'll always let you know before performing work beyond what was originally quoted.

Scheduling, Confirmations & Cancellations

When you request an appointment through our website or portal, it is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us by text or email. Arrival windows are estimates — while we do our best to arrive on time, factors like traffic, weather, and job length on prior appointments can affect timing, and we'll keep you updated if we expect to be delayed.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer that time to another client. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or a requirement to prepay for future appointments.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept the payment methods presented to you at the time of invoicing, which may include cash, check, or card payment through a secure, hosted payment link. Invoices not paid within the stated terms may be subject to late fees and, for accounts that remain unpaid, referral to collections. Prices for our services are subject to change; the price confirmed at booking or on your invoice is what applies to that job.

Client Portal Account

If you create a client portal account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, including when verifying your identity by invite code or by account number and service address.

Text Messaging (SMS) Consent

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from DrainTeck related to your service request, including appointment confirmations, reminders, and technician arrival updates. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing our services. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us directly — see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we use text messaging.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes — to request information, quotes, or services, and to manage your client portal account. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, interfering with its operation, or submitting false or fraudulent information through our forms. All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by DrainTeck or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission.

Service Guarantee and Limitation of Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship and will make it right if a repair we performed fails due to our error within a reasonable period after the service date. This guarantee does not cover:

• Pre-existing conditions, unrelated plumbing issues, or problems caused by normal wear and tear;
• Damage caused by third parties, misuse, or failure to follow any care instructions we provide;
• Issues arising from aging, deteriorated, or improperly installed plumbing not related to the work we performed; or
• Root intrusion, foreign objects, or blockages that recur due to conditions outside our control.

Except for the guarantee described above, our services are provided without any other warranty, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DrainTeck's total liability for any claim arising from our services or website is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income or damage caused by pre-existing plumbing conditions that were not reasonably discoverable at the time of service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Iowa law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DrainTeck harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our website, a violation of these Terms, or inaccurate information you provide to us in connection with a service request.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of our website or Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
